Privacy policy

Last updated · April 14, 2026

Your privacy matters. This policy explains what data Seat Easy collects, how we use it, and what your choices are.

What we collect

  • Email addresses — only when you voluntarily join our waitlist.
  • Location (city-level) — inferred from your IP address to show relevant local events. Never GPS-precise. Stored in your browser, not on our servers.
  • Saved events — stored locally in your browser via localStorage. Nothing leaves your device.
  • Anonymous analytics — via Vercel Analytics: pageviews, referrers, device type, country. No cookies, no personal identifiers.

What we don't collect

We don't collect or store payment information, personal profiles, browsing history outside Seat Easy, or any sensitive personal data. We don't sell data to third parties. We don't use tracking cookies.

How we use your data

Emails on the waitlist are used to notify you when Seat Easy launches new features. Location data personalizes your event recommendations. Anonymous analytics help us understand which pages and features work. That's it.

Third-party services

We use these services; their privacy policies apply:

  • Vercel — hosting and analytics
  • Ticketmaster and SeatGeek — event data
  • ipapi.co — city-level geolocation
  • Google — waitlist storage via Apps Script
  • Unsplash — event imagery fallback

Your rights

You can unsubscribe from our waitlist at any time, clear your saved events by clearing your browser storage, and disable location by declining the location detection. To request deletion of your email from our waitlist, email hello@seateasy.co.

Children

Seat Easy is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

We'll update this policy as needed. Material changes are reflected in the “Last updated” date above.
